Indian E-music… the new radio show with the emphasis on “Indian electronic music” – in dancable rhythms.

The Indian electronic music is sampled with classical Indian instruments (e.g. Sarangi, Sitar, Santoor) and usually combined with Tabla rhythms and Indian vocals (mostly from Indian classical style).

Since beginning of the 90th this new genre of music progressed dynamicly from what we call the “Asian Underground” and “Dub Music”. Today you can find abside the Bollywood hype the Indian “E” music world-wide on the dance floors.

The majority of the artists of the category “Indian electronic music” is trained in the field of Indian classical music (North Indian or South Indian). Thus “Indian E-music” has many things in common with the radio show IMC – India meets Classic existing since four (4) years “on air” (March 2006) as the single all years radio show for Indian Classics in whole German language area, which is same hosted by it’s brain ElJay Arem (initiator, moderator and producer).
